Outcome goals for this academic school year

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2018, there will be a 10% increase in passing rates school-wide for students in GAP Groups 1, 2, and 3, with a focus on students with disabilities and African Americans on the English Standards of Learning assessment.

Strategy 1

Teachers will assess and analyze diagnostic data from the fall and mid-year iReady Language Arts assessment to monitor students' growth in reading and use this information to make instruction decisions throughout the school year.

Strategy 2

Students will increase reading stamina by engaging in reading opportunities at school and at home including, but not limited to, independent reading and audio or digital books.

Strategy 3

Staff will focus on creating universal school-wide norms and a structured universal behavior intervention protocol to address targeted behaviors of concern.

By June 2018, 80% of students will receive a passing score of the English Standards of Learning assessment.

Strategy 1

Teachers will plan reading instruction and assessment based on the grade level and advanced academics Language Arts Planning and Pacing Guides during CLT's.

Strategy 2

Grade levels will implement best practices in reading instruction.

Strategy 3

Classroom teachers will implement a school-wide initiative to increase reading volume for students in K-6.

Strategy 4

All students will have access to Advanced Academic Curriculum.

Staff will focus on building strong, positive relationships with students as part of the culture of our school.

Strategy 4

Staff will focus on creating universal school-wide norms and a structured universal behavior intervention protocol to address targeted behaviors of concern.
