End of Year Math SMARTR Outcome
The pass percentage rate of African American students in grades 3-6 will increase from 42% (unadjusted) to 50% (unadjusted) and Students with Disabilities will increase from 47% (unadjusted) to 60% (unadjusted) on the Math SOL.
Strategy 1:
Teachers will plan math instruction and assessment based on the grade level and advanced academics Mathematics Planning and Pacing Guides during weekly Math focused CLT’s.
Strategy 2:
Teachers will implement a math workshop model during Tier 1 instruction with all students.
End of Year Language Arts SMARTR Outcome
The pass percentage rate of African American Students in grades 3-6 will increase from 46% (unadjusted) to 56% (unadjusted) and Students with Disabilities will increase from 53% (unadjusted) to 70% (unadjusted) on the Reading SOL.
Strategy 1:
Teachers will participate in weekly Language Arts focused CLT’s to plan reading instruction and assessment based on the grade level and advanced academics Language Arts Planning and Pacing Guides.
Strategy 2:
All grade levels will implement best practices in Language Arts to include reading workshop, writing workshop, and word study.
End of Year Portrait of a Graduate SMARTR Outcome
100% of students will increase by at least one level on the POG teacher communicator rubric in the area of “Employs Active Listening Strategies to Advance Understanding”.
Strategy 1:
All teachers will access and utilize POG communicator resources.
